Born in France in 1941, lived mainly in France and since 1983 in Israel. At age 67, as he retires, takes courses of art in Haifa and learns to work with pencil, charcoal, pastels and oil.
Made several exhibitions together with other artists and won a third prize in a competition organized by the Haifa Municipality, in 2013.
Jacques Stern, who signs his works under the name of Moenn, likes expressionism and live colors. The subjects he chooses are various and usually do not convey messages, they are meant for the pleasure of the eyes and the harmony in colors.
